5 months and 3 years

Logan is 5 months old today. It still amazes me that it has been that long, but it also feels like he has been with us forever.

What a doll he is! Although we get lots of comments on how much Aidan and Logan look alike, their personalities are completely opposite. Aidan has always been a more determined and sensitive child, from day one. Logan on the other hand is completely laid back and just loves to look around and take everything in. If he wants something and can't reach it or get it, he is just as content to play with something else. He also loves people to pay attention to him. It still surprises me that he will just let anyone hold him and obviously doesn't need mommy or daddy as much as Aidan seemed to. As long as his needs are met, he is just content with life.

Another difference between them is that Aidan, by about 3 months or so, was pretty much sleeping through the night. It took FOREVER to get him to sleep, but once down, he was good. Logan is relatively easy to put down, but likes to wake up and have a snack around 3:30 or 4. He is starting to throw in an all-nighter every now and then, but it is still not regular enough for me. :)

I am staying busy between the both of them and, for the most part, love it. There are days I want to pull my hair out - mostly in regards to Aidan who is every inch a 3 year old. Bless him. Aidan completely lights up my life and makes me laugh with all the crazy things he says and does. He is extremely active, but will sit down for a while and watch a movie if I need a break to do work or whatever else is needed. This can be very convenient, but we try not to make it a habit because Aidan LOVES TV. He is really at a wonderful stage of starting to understand a lot and getting to where we can do a lot of new and different things. However, he is three. He is a wild, crazy, determined, opinionated three year old boy. Aahh. I always need a good dose of patience with this little man.
