Weekend with the family

My brother and his wife (Craig and Kati) came with their daughter (Kaetlyn) to stay an extended weekend at my mom and dad's place. Kati had a work thing in Lake Jackson on Thursday and Friday, which made it a really nice visit. I had some work to do in Beaumont on Thursday, so Chris and Aidan got to spend some quality time with Craig and Kaetlyn. Then Aidan and I went over on Friday to hang out.

We spent quite a bit of time over there and so we ended up bringing our pack'n play along for Aidan's naps. During what was supposed to be Aidan's Saturday morning nap, he decided to help Grandma and Pop Pop with their filing. I thought he was asleep because he was so silent. Well, I did not place the pack'n play far enough away from their filing cabinet, which had some papers on top. Aidan took quick action and was evidently kept very entertained (as you can see by the mess in the following picture). He did end up getting upset, probably because he had no place to sit down, and this is how we discovered his destruction. It was too funny not to take a picture or two. :-)



It was another fun time spent eating WAY too much, playing games, visiting and letting the babies interact. It was a bit unfortunate that both babies were fighting off colds, but they were troopers and we were able to still get some adorable pictures.
