Halloween this year was a blast! We decided to celebrate my dad's birthday the same day as Halloween since everyone was going to be over at my parent's house anyway.
We got there early and did some fun craft things with Aidan and Kaetlyn to keep them busy and get them even more excited about the day.
We made spooky spiders out of Oreo cookies.
They got to decorate some pumpkin cookies, while of course eating some icing too.
And then the daddy's got in on the action with helping them carve pumpkins. I was kind of surprised that both kids got in there and got "dirty" by cleaning out the seeds. Okay, more surprised that my Aidan did anyway.
They had a blast with all the activity and all the attention.
The little boys, Logan and CJ, spent most of the time rolling and crawling around on the floor of the living room. Logan is at the stage now where every surface needs to be cleared off, that is at least the things we don't want him to get. I forgot about doing that with Aidan over at my parent's house.
Here is an adorable picture of Kati and CJ. The lighting is off but it is still too cute!
We then sat down and ate a yummy meal that my sister spent all afternoon cooking. Here Rachel is taking a break and being silly!
After the meal we got the kids cleaned up and dressed. More to come.
