Well, every book, magazine or web site regarding babies tells moms that we need to really have what they call "tummy time" every day to help our babies back neck muscles to strengthen. My question to this, is what happens when your child dislikes this tummy time so much that he screams and smashes his face into the blanket? My response, doing tummy time, maybe if it is a good week, once. Does this make me a bad mother? Will Aidan have developmental problems? NOOO!! We did tummy time and . . . he seemed to enjoy himself and raised himself up a bit! Shocking! Sometimes I think we can get overly freaked out by all the reading/research we do when we get into a situation we have not been in before (ie raising a baby).

We had another playtime with Kim and Caleb and the boys actually had a moment where they both acknowledged each other with a smile. Ahh . . . the friendship strengthens. Hee hee. It is still really about Kim and I right now, but we are working on expanding it to allow the time to be for the boys as well. :-)
Below are some really cute pics of him first playing on Caleb's play mat (thank you Caleb!) and second of him eating his stuffed bear rattle (his facorite thing to do right now).

What a happy baby! I agree with the parenting info! Bailey hated tummy time too; therefore, I was not dilligent with it. And he can push up and roll over perfectly fine! You guys are doing great! Miss y'all!
HA! Just when you start to think you're a horrible mom, they remind you that you're far from it. :) Ya'll are adorable.
