We finally got this blog started. We have been meaning to for several months now and hope that we have figured it all out. :-)
Hopefully this will be a place where our family and friends can come and see what is going on with our new little family - as there seems to be new developments happening all the time. Of course, that is to be expected with a 3 1/2 month old.
As everybody knows, we had a new addition to our family on July 8th at 8:13 in the monring. Aidan Christopher Rucker came into this world weighing 7 pounds 13 ounces and 19 1/2 inches in length. We feel truly blessed.
These last months have been a whirlwind of exciting things and accomplishments. Aidan has just recently really started to talk and coo. He is also starting to take in his surroundings. This leads to him being distracted very quickly, which can cause feedings to be a little interesting. :-)
It is so crazy how time seems to fly by. Hopefully this site will help keep everybody in the know with what is going on with us. Until next time.
